For those if us who watched the 2022 season of The Block will know that Rachel and Ryan have some serious skills. Personally their house was my favourite of the bunch and if I lived in Victoria and had a few spare million, I would of brought their house. But I don’t so I’ll have to settle for photographing their amazing work instead.
I didn’t want to shoot their stuff like conventional real estate style photography, I wanted to put more of a lifestyle, editorial shoot to it where I could as their spaces are inviting and beautiful and I think this approach worked perfectly. When I shoot interiors and architecture, I like to take this approach where I can as the end project I feel has more life and soul.
I was lucky enough to capture three of their projects. A stunning pool area (that I just wanted to jump into as soon as I saw it), a bathroom and laundry renovation, and a full house renovation.
I am currently working with R&R on their latest and biggest project to date which is super exciting and I can’t wait to share it!
