On a trip to Iceland I teamed up with the crew at Blue Car Rentals in Iceland to capture some content one of the new cars to their fleet. We got behind the wheel of the Kia Sportage and took it right around Iceland in the middle of winter and not only were the team at Blue Car amazing to deal with and super friendly, but their range of cars is epic. With compact cars for day trips to full blown adventure wagons, they have something for everyone.
The Kia we got blew my mind. I see these driving around Sydney all the time and never knew how capable this thing is in crazy weather and terrain. We drove through insane snow storms where you couldn’t see 2 meters in front of you, winds that were so strong it blew you off your feet and of course a few days of delightful sunshine. This car had no troubles getting through thick snow, if anything it seemed to love it. Not only is it a beast in the harshest of winter weather, but its a dream to drive and plush as. Heated seats and steering wheel, comfy leather seats and plenty of room for all our bags and baby seat, it was the perfect family adventure car!
