Australian Camera Magazine do a section each issue on ‘Photogenic Places’ from all over Australia and I got to head out to Capertee to photograph it for one of their issues.
Capertee is a little over three hours north west of Sydney and not many people know but its home to the second biggest canyon in the world (after the Grand Canyon) and is actually the widest canyon in the world. This sleepy little town doesn’t have much in terms of buildings and people, but it is bursting with natural beauty.

I had never been to Tasmania but had heard amazing things about it, so when I got the chance to head down to the south-east of Tasmania and photograph it for Australian Camera Magazine’s Photogenic Places I was pumped.
Safe to say it’s stunning, so much on offer from mountains and National Parks to ocean and rivers and not to mention some amazing small towns and incredible local food and wine.
